Popstars, a hilarious new musical, sees boyband vs girlband in the ultimate stand-off. Mark is dumped by his high school girlfriend Shannon so she can spend all her free time rehearsing with her girlband and win the big prize at the ‘New Gen Talent Show’.  Set on revenge, Mark convinces his grunge band to change their image and go head-to-head with Shannon’s group in the competition with an aim to steal the prize from under their noses. The show is packed with pop smash hits from the hyper-coloured 1990's by artists such as THE SPICE GIRLS, BACKSTREET BOYS, N*SYNC, BRITNEY SPEARS, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, MARIAH CAREY, MC HAMMER and many more.

We felt so excited and privileged to perform the North East premiere of this spectacular show, which saw audience dancing in the aisles. It also marked an important step in our development as our first performance in Aberdeen Arts Centre, and our Senior Musical Theatre pulling their largest audience yet to see their biggest show to date!
